Projekt SRT-8

Postby slow91 » February 14th, 2008, 2:01 pm

Well gang, after a few months away from the forum, I have finally completed the system on my SRT-8 Jeep Grand Cherokee.

Some of you may remember my posts with my Ford Probe GT and my GMC Syclone.

I have since purchased the SRT-8....420-hp all-wheel-drive....5-passenger SUV. It ran a 13.18 at 103mph in the 1/4 mile in 98-degree summer heat. I wiil run it soon in the cooler air....hoping for a 12.70-12.80

Here are the pics....

Rockford is coming to my shop tomorrow for the threesixty.2 signal processor tuning....but after that....some of you will get to see it firsthand. But for now...here's a few pics I just took...... 8-)

As you can probably tell, I am in no way a professional photographer...

^ I agree, the tweed is not really flowing with the rest of the install. Even grey leather might look a little better (Just my opinion) and there seems to be a different shade of grey on each side of the box on the trunk floor, maybe you can continue the tweed there as well. Other than that it's a pretty good install, I like it, keep up the good work.

Whats wrong with it. The installation follows a theme. Red and Black tweed.

Thanks for being the one that understands the method to my madness. As I do often value the opinions of others, in this case, the pictures don't do the "in-person" views justice. If you've seen some show systems often with the "pods" painted the outside body color....that was the look I was going for, except in tweed because I wanted to bring out an old skool theme in the "beast".

NOS is next...... 8-)

I used stainless steel 10-24 machine screws with lock washers and nuts.

Thanks. They are P3 DVC 4-ohm 10" subs.

They sound very smooth. I still have a few hours "tweaking" to get the sound I'm looking for, but really happy with them so far.
