I've done work by SR a number of times and never questioned his quality and workmanship.... yes pictures are there but i would like to believe most of the work on this install was done by his assistant/s.
this post is in no way to bash anyone especially with their years in the business and the positive reputation they built for their self. i would really like if this thread does not turn into a pissing contest.
with that said, my vehicle was down for almost 3 months last year after i underwent surgery, since i was unable to walk etc so i needed my system retuned and a possible upgrade.
An option came up, which i went for, after negotiating prices and decided to do a semi-full upgrade and transfer the existing equipment from my hilux into a ranger, at a later date. The previous build was my 3rd DLS system and I'm honestly very pleased with the brand and construction of the line.
I listened to a few morel systems and was really impressed with the warmth of the tweeters and the mid bass. again these were systems built very similar to what i have now i.e dampened doors etc which would assist in sound reproduction etc.
