As someone asked, MECA uses the Chesky UDD Disc for SQ Competition. We will be switching to the new MECA SQ Disc from the 2013 Season. New discs would b available from October or so... As Jon said, all speakers have limitations and different inherent characteristics based on design, that would create the speakers "Signature". You can use any speaker to do either system style but you obviously would be limited to the parameters that the speaker was built with. My advice...use speakers for what they were designed for.
