with all that extra stuff u do to it that box must have some good weight 0

1 4got to take a listen at d last meeting so im looking 4ward to hearing it when its done ...

i thought that you all said that this woofer is not supposed to be used for daily playing? that it was a strictly SPL sub

once used in the right enclosure, it will work great for daily.. the reason most people damage these is because they don't follow the manufacturer recommendations for enclosure size / tuning..

that sub / box weights over 100lbs easy... the mdf by itself was pretty heavy..

time for some second skin to help out with some rattles lol.( call me when u ready for it lol)

but on another note u didnt have to resin the outside of the box if u were going to paint it u just needed to filler all the holes and rub with a 220 grit sandpaper and prime and rub and then paint away lol.

i didn't know about using filler when i was doing it.. :oops:

and would you believe that door has 2 layers of second skin in it.. :lol:
