yes slacker u can use more than 1 3" port if u want ....

actually in a 4.5 cubic box 8 x 15" L to get 37.63Hz :twisted:

yes in a large box u can get away with that but if its like a 2.5cuft box tuned 35 it will end up being around 38" long ...might have to do a side firing port with something that long ...i will make do with my lil 4" aero yes .... :mrgreen:

i did extend one using a mold and some fiberglass, work out fine for me

got a caliper, measured the ports, carried the measurements to a wood work guy, he then made the mold from a peice of wood, worked pretty well

no i think it's a bit smaller, a few mills off if i remember correctly, it's been a while since i've used the rrr ports, i getting used to just ordering precision ports from parts express now

I can get 50" pipe 3" in diameter but I still dont know hoe to flare the ends, I tried with a heat gun but it just bend up & fawked up.

Heat up, and use a mixing bowl to press on it to flare the ends.

tried all those already, the thing is when you pressing at the open end to expand it, further up the line (about an inch or two) bending up & getting wavy / wrinkled as it is also soft.

you need to heat at a very constant limited area, it's tricky, but you can do it a d after a while it becomes easy

as you go deeper dosent the front not get wider? I reach about 1.5 inches deep & the wrinkles start. the opening has to be forced open & apparently requires more force to open than it takes to cause the waves further up.

.....somehow that just sounded a bit perveted....
