The problem with "live" music in Trinidad is that it is ofeten miked and amplified to the point of distortion and sounds terrible. To properly assess a live performance, I feel it must be unamplified, or expertly set up if it is.

A good example of live music whick I am sure a lot of people have access to is a guitar in a church (nice reverb most of the time), a tassa band, or a singing bhajans or cassidas in a temple or mosque. The reverb and envelopment is amazing.

Listening to a good singer do acapella and realising that it is really difficult to produce lilfelike levels is also an eye opening experience.

JUst a few thoughts dey.

Guys,

Thanks for the awesome response for the second day. There is still quite a bit of room on the first day, and in case you missed it, is offered at a special rate for past participants.

We were able to narrow down the SQS to the middle of May.

Registration will be officially open late march, early April.

As always, the first 10 registrants for each day win attractive prizes, JUST FOR BEING EARLY !!

There are lots of room on Day 1, with Day 2 being close to full.

The SQS has also attracted sponsorship and a partnership from the dealer of Blue Wave audio, American Bass and Exile audio, so look out for cool giveaways from them as well.

In the interest of newcomers, can a list of Day 1 activities be published?
