^^ The dls is for the everyday driving, i have a switch installed that shuts off all other unnecessary equipment.
... About my Selenium, they were in my budget and the sound very well.... so im in no hurry change them, but they too would be replaced eventually.

well today i doin a mix of both component kit and dj speakers-

6sets high end audiopipe components and 4 6" eminence beta(2) and alfa sealed back(2)

2 kits to d front door and 1 kit per back door with 1 eminence

and the two beta on d back dash

amp is a tarantula 960.4 (component kit)and a power acoustik gothic 2 channel(eminence)

processor- pwm 20/audiocontrol overdrive/eql
i want to hear this shud sound good a mix of loudness and clean

and for d bass is ah pair of 15" audiopipe blue cone and ah 3000bd PA mono

dis lookin like it goin and sound really good

oh really???

how exactly you planning on placing them comps to be effective saddis???

2 kits on front doors????is that even necessary???? and one in the back???...you wont hear it...neither will passengers seated in the back as how those eminence will be barking at their ears....how u plan on firing the tweets???..you threw imaging and soundstage straight out the door with this....what about distinguishing the comps' tonal accuracy while dj speakers playing as well???....why components????....if ure planning on using components (<<<especially) for gallary purposes alongside with dj speakers playing AT THE SAME TIME then u will run into some trouble......better thing to do is put a switch like what shaks did....and DONT use 2 sets of comps in ure front doors....that will just defeat it's purpose....

lol casper talkin bout tonal accuracy imaging and soundstage :o
what is goin on here

btw what is wrong with using 2 sets of components in front doors? you mean in general or in his case

please let us not bash peoples systems ..all of our systems are TOTALLY different so what each does with his money is their own business?

jeff wrote:btw what is wrong with using 2 sets of components in front doors? you mean in general or in his case

i really meant in general eh....wouldn't it be harder to position 2 sets of components same distance from ure ears left and right in ure doors???(i hope u understand what i'm trying to say cuz as i read it back there...it looks confusing)

jeff wrote:please let us not bash peoples systems ..all of our systems are TOTALLY different so what each does with his money is their own business?
