focal 3 way utopia comps
mosconi gladen as 300.2
mosconi gladen zero 1

need help chosing subs- jl w6v310 or id max 10

or any great sq sub. DAD, morel Suprimo ,hertz ,dls.

after using their products this would be the my sub of choice
and i will be buying one when i change my vehicle

but the power factor might not make it a choice in this application as you will want some decent headroom etc

The subwoofer question is a very subjective one. Everyone has a brand loyalty, so it`ll be really tough to get an unbiased answer. Some people will have you believe once its not an "SQ" brand, it won`t sound good. Do you plan to go ported or sealed? Is space requirement a concern?

Also, I have used that JBL processor before. While it is decent, its not a tweaker`s friend. It tunes the car to its target curve and that may not be what u totally prefer. If it were me, I`d get the mosconi or zapco processor. Currently, I have a p99rs in my car and cant really see myself changing it. EVER!

sub or subs will be going sealed. My wife currently has a audioson bit 1 in her car along with an audison voce av quattro and a av uno with 2 mb quart premium 12inch (pwh series) and audison Th k3 comps up front. Was thinking to give her the ms 8 and use the bit 1. I cant remove the headunit from my car or else i was gonna get a p99rs. So im still deciding on subs.

I think i'm getting old. I'm now failing to understand why people place so much emphasis on speakers that reproduce so little of the frequency spectrum.

Its a dimension of sound that produces a reaction like no other, the snap of the snare and the blare of higher spectrum instruments lets us hear it, but the kick in the chest and the groove of the bassline pulsing a droning rhythm through your bones makes it...well, no words really do it justice lol.
