HELP- Pioneer AVH-X4500BT DVD bypass without Switch

Postby dragonware » August 30th, 2013, 10:50 am

Hey guys

A regular relay doesnt work, id rather not use a switch, and have to Spend $30US on a module from ebay
How do i send a double pulse to the parking brake wire ?

Thanks

i used the cigarette lighter of mine cut the power wire and put the bypass wire on it. "not the live wire the one going to the lighter" press and pull the lighter twice and press in and it stays in no heat so it won't pop out and voila DVD.

I worked up one with a normal switch. I see no need for the module

Just get a normally closed push button switch...similar to the ones that does come with them old time viper alarms and connect the signal wire to one side and a ground to the other. I did that and put it close to the floor where my feet could just press it. Easy to use and cheap. Or you could always buy the module.

Btw the avh-x4500bt requires a double pulse turn on signal. A normal relay cant do that no matter how or howmuch you connect to it.
