:s ummm for the least I would recommend the amps be identical as in same brand and rms rating/wattage to be 100% safe by theory so one coil wont be getting more power than the other which could potentially damage or burn the coil thats getting more power than the other...im not recommending this but I cant see why this wont work :) GL!

yes its possible

but strapping the amps is better

however for reliability this should only be done for spl purposes

First ting first what kind of amps an sub u using an then we well no from there but most lightly it's not a good idea

It shouldn't be a problem. DVC drivers originally came about because they wanted to combine the output of two separate sources into one speaker anyway. You can even apply different EQ at each amp without an issue. Typical cautions apply - don't drive the sub at levels that exceed its capabilities (excursion and power).

A sub will only "bun down" when you push it beyond its max :|

Just make sure both coils in phase and nothing should happen, will just sound kinda weird is all

hear waz d scn....strap the amp....make sure and get the amps to strap @ 1ohm...moost amps strap at 2ohm........a gd amp i kw off is the spl dynamics ICE 3500D.......this avoid you from having to try and match gains
