do car audio really capacitors work?

can someone please advise me if they are needed. i have a 2500 watt 5 channel amplifier to install in my almera and i dont want to damage anything.

when the cap discharge on a bass note...
and music still playing...

the alt/batt now has to run your music AND charge back the cap
Thus putting more load on the alt/batt, potentially destroying more stuff

just make sure your wires can accomodate the 2500W and your alt/batt good enough
Do a big 3 upgrade too

Unless you have hundreds of farads per ONE WATT, you wont see any performance increase (music wise)

If you gonna listen to ur music in short 1 second bursts in 3 second intervals, then go ahead
