Can I safely run my Bass Processor to my preamp? (soundstream BX-20z - soundstream MPQ 7XO)

You should run your bass processor as follows- deck to processor to sub amp! Do not use the deck sub out to the processor!

Deck F/R ----->Processor -------> X over --------> Amp

Ok thanks.. I used to run it like that but a friend told me its not to run that way because i would be sending a bass signal to my preamp... i'm going to hook it back up... will repy and lets you all know how it work out.

hey man if not the deck sub out to the processor, then what signal should u send to it?

Do not run the bass processor to your preamp if you have a sub output. I had ran over mines that way and got to realize the bass processor cracks up (distorts) the mids.

Deck-processor-preamp-amp is the correct way to do the connection, however you get better mid quality when you run it Deck-processor-amp. Been trying it out for 2 days... sounding better now doe
