JBL GT120...
pioneer 305 dvc..

Can nebody tell me what the enclosure size for a pair of either of these in a box?

recommended volume for sealed enclosure - 1.5cubic ft
recommended volume for ported enclosure - 1.65cubic ft...port length 3"x5" (diameter x length)

hope this helps..i have no idea about the jbl though maybe their website has it :? ...go figure

how do those the size of the box differ for 2 of the subs in one box? is it simply twice the cubic ft? or is it more complicated than that.?

It's probably better if you design the enclosures seperately. That is to make it in such a way that each sub has its own enclosure space, seperated from one another.

no 2 speakers are the same, they will react diffrently with the space inside the box giving diffrent results, it is always better to give each speaker its own space so one will not affect the other.

i have the specs for the JBL GT120
ported is 2.25
and i think sealed is 1.something :?
i'll check again n let u know

What's the length and size of the port? You've got 1/3 of the specs for the ported enclosure.

anything else needed on this sub... allyuh do allyuh self ah favour n click here...
one of the best spec sheets i've ever seen for a sub...

SO basically the volume of the box is the sum of the two sub enclosures exactly?.........each wit separate ports?.........
