can adding a pre amp remove engine noise

so i installed my new head unit a sony cdx gt650ui along with my fiatal pro 8fe and the first thing caught my attention when the car was started was this annoying noise and was wondering if a pre amp will help or just make it worst and also does anyone own the faital pro please help me :D :D :D :D wats the best frequency to tune them at

i had that same problem with my pioneer deck and it turned out to be the rca outputs on the deck. Try grounding your rcas and see if the noise stops, i simply took two 6" pieces of wire and soldered them to the to each of the rca jacks that come from the back of the deck one for each rca jack and then grounded the other end to the deck chassis... in the case of your deck where you have front rear and sub outputs you probably will have to check them one by one, not too sure as i only have one set of pre out on my deck...

Work on the getting a good ground for the head unit first.
It may be that there is a grounding loop.

how exactly do you ground off the rca cause i tried that once and the speaker got like a static signal and also im pretty sure the ground ond the deck is good since i ran 2 ground wires

Isn't the negative alone of the RCA thats supposed to be grounded in this case? Correct me if I am wrong.

I realized that my explanation wasn't too clear that's y i posted a link on how to do it...
