i want an alternater 2 charge at 16 volts,wud a 14 volt alternator work?

If your intention is to charge a 16V battery bank, then yes, you can actually use another device to charge a 16V bank of batteries using a 14V alternator.

These are like the Harrison Labs Flux Capacitor or the Jacobs Electronics Accuvolt.

doesnt make sense running 16 volts battery bank without a variably regulated alternator.

so u asking this cause u want 16v going to ur amps ? ....is this a strict spl vehicle ?


u do know u cud fry d other electrical stuff in a normal car with such voltage ...

Hence the reason for the Accuvolt/Flux Capacitor, you keep both your 12V electrical system and a 16V amplifier voltage.

silent_riot, is this device one that steps up the voltage to 16v? If yes, what is its wattage rating for this step up?
