Did they skip this yr?

Anywhere locally, Bhagwansingh's Selections are very very limited.

I'm trying not to buy the Kits, there are a lot of bits in there i wont ever use,

I'm just interested in some straights, Flush trims, Chamfers, Roundovers, Rabbetting

are those angles screws really applicable to a box ?
I don't see any big advantage.

ebay have plenty routers bits cheap, lotsa made in china carbide bits which work fine

a good bit to have is a long flush edge trimming bit like the laminate trimmers but long enough to trim edges which not flush like the in the first pic above

you best buy the saw plate to go with it, otherwise its not much different than a piece of straight with clamps on either end

any router experts here ?
I have a underutilized dewalt 621 plunge router

i see by bhags they recently get a big shipement of B&D power tools & d plices cheeep - 4.5" angle grinder going for ah lil $400 , chopsaw = $1000 & to wash out ur yard & ride when u done make ur mess they have power washer 1400 psi for $1000

generally speaking B&D wont hold up for if u doing installs as a daily business but for d wk end & casual DIY ppl it good enough ...

Taken from the Kreg Website..

Q. Can I use just any screws with the Kreg Jig®?
A. No.
While it may be tempting to try a different screw in a Kreg Joint, there are many reasons why you shouldn't. Kreg screws are specifically designed for use with Kreg Joints and include many features which make them uniquely suited for use with the technique.

Self-Tapping Tip In order to minimize splitting of the wood, our screws use auger-point self-tapping tips which bore their own hole as they are driven. This eliminates the need to drill a small hole in the receiving workpiece before the screws are driven, and keeps your wood from splitting.

Varying Thread Type
Different materials require different thread-type. Our screws come in three distinct styles (coarse, fine, and hi-lo) for use with different wood species. Fine thread for hardwoods such as oak and cherry, coarse for softer woods such as pine and MDF.

Square Drive
All Kreg screws feature a high-quality square head designed to reduce the chance of your driver slipping once engaged.

High-Quality Steel Unlike other screws which heads may snap off when being tightened down, our screws are made from a high-quality high-tensile steel designed to withstand the unique stresses within Kreg Joints.

It's a nice system, would be ideal for repairing broken home furniture etc.. but the availability of screws is a worry..

This is a close up of the Kreg self tapping wood screws..
