what bothering me is the fact that its your dad's car, how old is dad? I hope I hav kids like you yes.

anyhow, a box for 1 12" is kinda big, hav a look @ an orion box in rovin's ched.

id go with the 2 15" cuz the box will be slightly smaller & its almost the same cone area you'll be dealing with, plus the 15"s will give you a deeper bass.

btw leme adopt yuh as meh son nah spana :?:

4 12" wont necessary be louder than 1 properly powered 15"

i suggest whatever u decide to go with...u let a good box builder handle the enclosure....i'd recommend Rovin....

look rovin 1 15" hit 149.5db......i've seen some 4 sub cars that CANNOT pass 145 for $hit

went medford with GR a time too.....we wash out some men down there with 4 12" and ting....and i had 1 12" and he had 1 15"

a good sub complimented with a great enclosure with ENOUGH power like u have COULD get louder

casper,
thanks for d advice man I'll given rovin a call he does some real neat work.
But I was kinda hopeing 2 build d box myslef seeing that I'm getting d subs dawg cheap I have a lil paper extra to try an build it my self. It's a process of trial an error .ent?

in the process of error, if you dont build a proper enclosure you can end up with mechanical damage to your sub.

box building may seem like an easy task where you jus screw up 6 pieces of mbf together & throw in a sub but its not like that.

what type of enclosure you intend to use?

if vented, what frequency do you intend to tune your enclosure to?

do you kno what size port you hav to use for what freq?

how do you plan to brace this box?

will the bracing affect air flow in & out of the box (turbulence)?

what volume you intend to build your enclosure to?

did you cater for port displacemet & the sub itself in the box with respect to internal volume?

those are jus some questions you hav to ask yourself, if you kno the answers then be my guest, go right ahead & bulid your enclosure.

ah hear ah orion hp 12" already in ah wagon. It real Loud!!! and small enclosure too but bass too high for me. like its ah gallary system yuh fada want. you should consider doin ah 3 sub box instead - yuh have ah better chance of optimising yuh space
