remote install

planning a install using the factory radio which has no power antenna out for a remote. are there any other ways around this apart from a 12v switch.

i have a module that provides the remote turn on signal from stock head units

you could also use the acc wire.

use a relay off of the stock acc wire if you using a few components. Ground the #85 terminal, run the acc +ve wire to the 86 terminal and run + power to the #87 terminal. # 30 terminal will be used as your remote wire to turn on the components. remember to fuse your +ve connections :!: :fadein:

some amps have signal sensing so they turn on only when they get an audio signal.......

is there any implication of running the remote to the 12+ terminal?

keep in mind once you run anything off the acc wire your amps will be turned on once u turn the key even if the dek is off

the module i have works with the deck and only tunrs the amps on when the deck is turned on
