Need speakers advice

ok i have a nissan s14, and i want to buy some 8"s for the back i want some real hard pong if you no what i mean i want it loud and clean what brands should i look into? secondly, if i purchase two 8"s for the rear should i also buy two horns for the heights??

hmmm, but, if you want it louder, why dont you just put the speakers closer to your ears... now there's an idea!!!

dreadnaut ya say? its a good all round sub but durability im not sure about, most u can maybe drive to one of those is round 1200 rms.... why not spend that same money on a RE SX 15 or even a DD 3515 which u can push extra power on n maybe get better bass?
just a suggestion eh...

stick with car audio products if u want quality.... nice pair of comps on d doors n maybe 4 good 6x9s at d back.....if u want loud n not much clarity... dj stuff sud work... i say 2 dass monitors n ya good like lalo :mrgreen:

with the bass line he seem to be looking for he will need to get some ah dem dj stlye speaker and tweeter as i get the feeling he wah be heard coming round d corner

since u in d 1000wrms power & price range - i'd strongly suggest u buy a RE SX 15"

i installed a new 12" SX in a car friday night & even though d sub stiff it pounded REAL hard - i not lying but within seconds of playing dat 'touch it-bring it' song @ a moderate volume d rear hood upholstery & 3rd brake light in d car came loose & hang down - powered off a crossfire vr1000 amp , imagine d sound\lows when d sub fully broken in ... :twisted:

& yes space was a consideration - box is 3ft long & a lil more than 1/2 d trunk gone..... :wink:

...but if you wanna park up.....or your mids to be heard clearly from around de corner.......go wit de beymas............or dem dj mid drivers..........which won;t be AS clear..........

plenty fellas who liming or who use dj style speakers or jus want loud systems....doh really distinguish between clarity etc,,,once it loud ad "clear" that good fro them

so yea thanks guys, but just one more question so i have the lows almost figured out and the mids figured out (2 8" ciare or beyma) what about the heights? do i get 2 dj horns or what? and i have to wire it w/ a cross over right?

if u have d $$$ (& good earplugs :wink:

) u can buy d horns
or if on a budget do d normal power acoustik blts or there is d Coustic or Pyramid brand of tweets roughly $150\pair
& u cud use a preamp 4 general fine tuning ,if u budget good get a Audio control EQX ..... :fadein:
