You should get at least a 1000 class d to push that sub - wat voice coil config u have? - i suspect D2 so i would go with a good 1000.1 amplifier.

The reason, brands like crystal heavily underrate their subs - if u were to drive it with 500 - 800 u might not get the performance of the sub u want. Its better to go over power than under, that way u can adjust down - u cant really adjust up if u know wha i mean - cuz lets say u buy the 800 rms amp and u need more power u have no choice but to buy a different amp.

companies underrate so its a less risk of ppl damaging their subs & tru warranty costing d company more

i know u said u need a 2chan 4 SQ application - but thats gonna cost more than using a norm MONOBLOCK @ 1ohm amp

-i asking here but u think running ur sub @ d higher ohmage & using a 2 chan will make a worthwhile noticable difference in actual hearing SQ ?????

a JL 1000/1 or Phoenix Gold Xenon 1200.1 will do the job good tho ..... :fadein:

well to tell the truth ... i didn't really consider a monoblock cuz the sub is single 4 ohm ... daz y i was considering the 2 channel bridged

JL Audio 1000/1 Gives 1000Watts at any impedance from 1.3 - 4 ohms...... So you dont need a two channelbridged to get max power...

I think there is a line of phoenix gold that does the same thing...
