I'm my case I was thinking 8"sub (or if I can find smaller) in a sealed box... Or one of those underseat powered subwoofer.
Does anyone sell subwoofers smaller than 8"
Budget is around 1100, which is about the price for one of those under seat powered units iirc (the cheaper ones anyway).david12 wrote:Give us an estimated budget. There are plenty of options to go with depending.
david12 wrote:I saw this install from a Tuner, he did a sealed enclosure in the middle on top of the driveshaft tunnel. I think it was a JL 8w3 that was used and it was plenty sound for that cabin. I think in that model Navara there isn't alot of space behind the back seat. Wasn't that noticeable and alot easier on the eyes than one of those center enclosures that I don't get the point of.
I digging this. Again alot easier on the eyes than the big center console enclosures that them fellas doing now. But what I heard was more or less a cube shaped sealed box in between the seat and center console with the sub upfiring. I always wanted to try those Loudforce subs but never got the chance.nervewrecker wrote:david12 wrote:I saw this install from a Tuner, he did a sealed enclosure in the middle on top of the driveshaft tunnel. Mounting Depth is 4.75", I don't have too much experience with behind the seat van enclosures so how this looking?rollingstock wrote:The audiopipe 6.5 is a good sub, that quad stack motor assembly is a problem to fit in tight spaces though. The DD 506 is a great little sub.

Could just be a mental thing, that audiopipe quad stack looks a lot beefier/ taller than other comparable sized subs
