^^^^ Devi, that is the general idea. WhatsApp has it's pros and cons for that use though. You can only reach 50 people max. However photos can be sent to the group from anyone anywhere on the stage within the group.

For RT the idea of stage by stage updates will continue. May not be all 30 cars though as it's difficult to type on a phone while listening to radio traffic and entering times accurately. Probably the top cars in each group, with a summary at lunch time or so. That said.. it's much easier to copy the results and paste it to something like the TTRC facebook page.

Twitter also reaches a more global audience. Since reviving the @TTRCResults Twitter account this week, there has been huge interest and retweets from Ireland, Barbados and Jamaica.

Rest assured, as long as the finish times get to the results marshals, it will be shared somehow immediately (but are to be considered provisional until made official)

Yup Whatsapp is limited and can cause alot of crosstalk if made too public.

We are working on linking the TTRC / Rally Trinidad Facebook page, Twitter accounts and setting up as much social media with Instagram as well as linking to TriniTuner Facebook and Twitter and this thread via the trinituner mobile app etc - ALL linked for Rally Trinidad 2014. That way stage times, updates and information will be accessible by all. The plan is to have someone dedicated to that task alone for the entire event so look out for constant online updates.

I understand that there is a media launch for RT 2014 on Wednesday 12th March. Is this open to the public? If so where is it exactly?

John Powell – Withdrawn due to his severe shoulder injury suffered while riding a mountain bike. Broken Collar Bone, dislocated shoulder and bruised ribs. Nicholas Telfer now sitting with Paul Bourne from Barbados.

Jeffrey Panton – 2 time winner of Rally Trinidad Jeffrey Panton’s bid to win Rally Trinidad for a second consecutive year, and third in total will not happen in 2014 as his engine did not make it back to Jamaica in time. Panton who campaigns in a 2006 Ford Focus WRC sent his engine to refresh after a highly competitive 2013 season, however when some cautionary items were discovered in the Engine the engineers decided to do more work pushing the return of the engine past the allowable ship date from Jamaica.

Gary / Kyle Gregg – Either of the Father / Son Gregg Family were scheduled to compete in the Mitsubishi Evo IX (formally run by John Powell in the 2012 NACAM series) however the fire at the back of the car that put them out of Rally Jamaica proved too difficult to repair in the last few weeks making it unable for them to get the car ready in time.

Great work with the directions.
Probably someone who already has the stages bookmarked on waze or who will be able to pass and bookmark before the events can share the waze location link for even easier navigation for first-timers.
