I have to endorse all that Robbie has said here. This event took International Rallying in T&T up several notches, and this was in no small way due to the many months of planning by the hardworking Management of TTRC.
And their ability to attract the support of the other parties who have been successfully staging their respective events – that was a surefire combination that guaranteed a successful event. And in typical style of those who do not sit back, they have looked at the areas of weakness and are already addressing them.
Of course without the competitors, the event would be a no-go, and having been able to attract some of the best in the Caribbean to compete against our local drivers, this is the way to raise the bar.
The genuinely committed, the truly honest and sincere amongst the real motorsport lovers in T&T, will continue to stick together and eventually convince the powers that be who are the best to rebuild Motor Sport to its true potential and regain the respect of the rest of the Caribbean.
