Our thanks to our regional friends for joining us in comraderie in Rally Trinidad 2008.

The TTRC wishes to express appreciation to all sponsors, who contributed generously to our event, our Event Chairman - Barry Mckenzie, who plotted the stages and with Rezan and Junior Sammy, put down some of the best prepared stages we ever had, in addition to ensuring that RT08 documentation was kept at a professional level, our regional counterparts for being here, all officials and marshals who selflessly gave of their time from Wednesday 26th to Sunday 30th and even before, our 2 MCs - Ryan and Narend, and to my fellow colleagues, who met week after week after week and planned the event. Unfortunately the 4 administrative personnel of the EXCO were there only part of the time, bound by work and other commitments.

Now that the dust has settled on RT08, we look forward to RT09 !!! Hope to see you next year !!

I'd like to make special mention of our Competition Secretary - Graveney Dindial, who with his special crew of Shiva, Marlon, David, Tampico, Bashir, Irshaad, Michael, looked after the marshals and setting up the stages ... Chief Cook and Bottle Washer .. the only position he did not tie down that weekend was the Clerk of the Course ... my apologies if I left out anyone here.

Special thanks also go out to Lynette, Silbourne Clarke, Uncle Lennox, Ian McDowell, Gem and Pauline for their generous donation of time and experience.

I hail out the Mitsubishi and Nissan Clubs, whose members came out to be trained as marshals and assisted in this important area of operations.

It is very heart warming to acknowledge all the human resources who contributed towards the hosting of this event for the love and growth of the sport and as there are several bits and peices that make up the whole... inclusive of our supporters and well-wishers, for whom we wish to ensure enjoyment.

We take away with us from this weekend: humbleness as well as pride, graciousness, appreciation, lessons learnt.

From the TTRC, we say a resounding THANK YOU ! THANK YOU !!

i would like to thank all marshals who came out and help on the 3 day event. it took a lot from all of them and those who helped set up the stages the weeks before. but i always liked this sayin "you never miss the water until the well run dry" call me old fashion but we had a lot of tragedies that weekend any no one said anything about it..whats up with that...i dont know i think clubs should look after their members,not the events..hey but thats just me....
