Looking good.... I suggest you run the course from dex 6 earlier in the year (next event)... its the fastest course I've seen but unfortunately it was run on a day when it would have been faster to take a Jetski around ARC

On an unrelated note - WHERE MIH SECOND PLACE OVERALL TROPHY FROM EP DREAD?

No problem , you can run where that car will be classed but you cannot carry the points from EP-r to the other class.

EK3 civic.

Does the model of car affects classification as well?

based on the current rules, the base class would be power to weight ratio (WHP), and then points for applicable mods as defined in the rules
180tw will not attract any points
the anti-roll bar will attract two points(I still can't see the logic)
coil-overs are 4 points (automatic class bump)
Up-sized rotors: 2 points

Thanks MGman.

I count 7 points in total with my mods.
Then 4 points goes to a bump in class, where does the other 3 points go?

they'll go towards a bump to the next higher class

re class bumping and reassignment,

viewtopic.php?f=28&t=516462
2. If a car is found to be outside of its class at any time during the competition year because of a modification change or classification error (as opposed to false declarations), that car would be retroactively re-classed.

now that Farieed is no longer classified in ES, will the results be adjusted to reflect 2nd place for Kevin Lalla and Alan Rajkumar Maharaj in 3rd place? This may seem like a trivial point, but those extra points for those guys could cost them as the season heats up.
My last email from CARS indicates Farieed's points form Dex 1 assigned to ES, not his current class.
Is this an oversight on the part of the committee, or am I missing something?

First bump is 4 and I think the second is 5 so you can add another point before worrying about a bump.

any rule against entering a car in a higher class even though it's not modded accordingly ???
if not, then enter the car in the championship class you want to compete in, get the competition car ready, but in the meantime, try to win as much championship points as possible...
