New tires sitting on the rack for 6 years?

I saw some new tires that I am considering but the DOT is 4707. Would this be good for Autocross? I read online 6 years is the max shelf life for new tires.
It is only for autocross would it be worth the risk or leave that alone and just get some FU?

Better the foreign used , if you ask me but check the date as well because you are not sure how well these tires might be , if they have begun to dry rot on the insides.

big chance but if stored in a cool place and can be had for a good price, I would take a try
