After seeing the successes of the TTRC at the Tarouba Stadium, and the vast amount of space available at that venue, not only for the actual course, but for spectators etc. I would make a suggestion that the club seek to have at least an event or two at that location this year. I think it will offer a lot more scope for course design and definitely a Special Stage format to the runs (Head-to-head) making the sport maybe a little more attractive to those who may only be competing in DnW...maybe even to the rally drivers etc.

Just a suggestion...something worth at least looking into....discuss...

For events where the public enters freely, the cost is free.
Once charging the public to enter, the cost is $35,000.00

CARS gate fees does not cover that unfortunately.

perhaps last year exec members can shed some more light on it, as they had the details.

spectators. the public. so no gate fee.
once a gate fee exists, that changes the terms.
a competition fee is not a gate fee.

Agreed on excellence of venue though. I'd encourage anyone who can alter those terms to take a shot at it.

The no gate fee thing could work with a competitor fee. What about a bar and food?

There must be a way to make an event fun for the public

Comes down to cars methinks, we need so faster (looking) cars, like a couple r35s and some drift men... anybody have a Ferrari they want to bring?

I would be in for the event if the schedule allows.
