Dear Solodexers,
It is with great regret that we inform you all that we are forced to switch the dates for BYCC 3 and Solodex 4.
This is due to 4 executives not being able to attend the event in June. As most of you know, the preparation and input required to host a competition event is quite intense. It is difficult for only 3 executives try to carry out a successful competition event. For this reason we have been forced to make the change.
We apologize for any inconvenience caused and hope that the advanced notification can allow for minimal disruptions to competitors plans.
The new dates are as follows
Solodex 4 : July 25th 2010
BYCC 3: June 13th 2010

can the date of bycc 3 be changed? there is SUPPOSED to be another mospo event on that day ...

unfortunately we can't as these are the days that the location is available for us to use.

Remember we plan our events based on these inputs

1: karting dates
2: horse racing days
3: other motorsport bodies events

we TRYYYYYY to avoid clashing with other events but unfortunately due to numbers 1 and 2 taking a priority along with having the advertised number of race days and bycc days, we unfortunately and inevitably will have a clash here and there.. but we TRY as i said to avoid and reschedule accordingly.

On a side note, this event that is SUPPOSED to occur, was it a planned event that was advertised to all clubs at the end of last year? if not then what i can suggest is have that body plan their dates in advance and supply all clubs so when we all sit to plan out the year we can minimize clashing

We were asked to consider moving our date to accomodate the planned Drag Event....but this looks impossible....the 6th is a TTKA event also the 27th, and the 20th is Fathers Day...sometimes clashes are inevitable. The Drags crowd and Dex crowd are pretty different so should not affect us too badly.
