Hey sr i wanna try sumn .. lmk if it makes sense ..
since i am not into "sq" but i do appreciate a good sounding system i finally got the approval to improve my wife's car audio .i would like to get the stock system listened to /metered so that i will have the base knowledge to start with . i have an idea of what i wanna acheive just wanna get it on hard copy and the sort
will it be possible to get this done on that day and will i have to pay the full cost ?

or it wont make sense and just go ahead and do the upgrade..
might make an interesting thread u neva know

Attend the event, meet and converse with various different SQ persons and gather u r thoughts for u r upgrade...

once time permits i will take a listen to it but i do know how the oem corolla system sounds and it wont fare well in competition even in the rookie class

not planning to compete in sq .. just wanna build a comparable system knowing how i started in terms of scores and what i am able to end up with .

what i really want to accomplish is really somn like using a termlab for every little change i make to a spl box.

so lets say i dampen the doors my points will move from x to y .. just wanna know how each change affects the end result of a decent system .

and i know there are pple out there who will say its a waste of time but i am sure most if not all new competitors to sq will dive right tru to upgrade their entire system without knowing the major ones.. and i kinna want to use this project as a real live demo type install.

again as i said i am not planning to compete in sq but the satisfaction i get will be worth it for me.

What time is SQ starting/ending?
I have to work that day, and have to plan around these times.

Sq starts at 8am
cutoff for registration for Sq is 930am
Results will be posted immediatly after sq is completed
Idbl starts as soon as Sq comp is over
aiming at a cutoff time of 5pm

last Iasca Event for the season/year and it will be a tripple pt event for championship points

heads up to anyone coming from central and north. road works being done at preysal flyover and causing real traffic so either leave early or take the main road.

Thanks to DE Audio and IASCA for another nice event. I happened to score my personal best of 225 for this show. Good enough for a 2nd place in ProAm and tied score with the 1st place ProAm.

Got a demo of SR's car. HUGE change from last event. Mids and highs were as smooth as butter. I honestly think that years of judges training have paid off. It sounds superb.

Looking forward to the next one.
