Hoping to see alot more members of the public come out and get advice and gain knowledge on tuning & design their systems...

The best IASCA judges specialising in both SQ and SPL will be on hand to offer advice and suggestions to anyone.

Come have your system RTA'ed, , test for SPL.....

I also hope to see alot of the "bigger" or more experienced car audio installers come compete and/or share their knowledge at this event so that every one can benefit in one way or another thus enabling the sport to grow positively...

Also looking forward to the rookie competitors laying some cut-ass on some of the veteran competitors in the SQ arena. There's a lot of good systems in all categories.

regarding the sq bang out, details on the format still being worked on

but so far
some of the criteria for elegibility are:

1.) must be active participants in OFFICIAL IASCA SQ competitions or ISACA affiliated competition
for atleast 3 SQ events for 2010 (inclusive on this one).

2.) event will be JUDGED by 3 independent judges will and have a scoresheet.

it is MANDATORY that those wanting to compete in the SQ bangout DO compete at this even on the 14th yes.

They are also required to have been competing in atleast 2 other previous SQ events for the 2010 season.

These rules are not final nor CAST in stone as yet.

Still awaiting more feedback from the SQ men.

We are still thinking about this since i am quite sure there will be some new faces competing in the SQ at this event who didnt compete in previous SQ comps, but would like to get in on the fun as well.

well as mentioned earlier, details are still being worked out.

but the idea is really to show SQ built systems ..showing how properly installed equipment can sound loud, clean and accurate too,...it's really a challenge being thrown out to the SQ men and sort of like a challenge to them as well.

ALL comments and suggestions are invited !

Ok, well sound Q systems aren't meant to be heard outside the car in a bangout fashion, but I catch your drift.
Something more in line of a Sound Q challenge is to compile a mystery CD with tracks of the judges choice, and let them listen to it in the car, and judge the car's faults based on those tracks.
If you want to showcase the cars' installs, the competitors can be asked to prep a demo showcase for spectators, and then do that just after they compete.

^^^i hear u... that's the point ....it's somethin new....just a fun idea....

i am sure maybe some system's settings can be tweaked acccordingly.

Noone is expecting any competitor to go outside the limits of their system or damage their equipment.
Nevertheless, i have heard pure SQ systems "get loud" already and dey were very very impressive...... that's why i got d idea
