Don't be "those guys" and just change your bulb in a reflector housing and then blind oncoming traffic with a bright white glare that basically doesn't help you anymore than stock halogens because of the diffusion.

Go get a proper retrofit done....check Triniretrofit on Facebook for some clean installs.

Personally I feel HIDs would be the way to go as well.

If you still insist on changing bulbs alone well HYMC!!!

+1

You can change output lumens and color temperature by comparing a replacement with what you have. Many drivers perceive a higher color temperature as brighter.

LED - Ultra 2 GTR lighting.

If you are going to scorch retinas, burn them proper.

Would like to know what vehicle you are having lighting problems with?

Maybe... Based on colour temp. If I'm not mistaken the GTR LEDs are adjustable so you can position the diodes perfectly within the housing

What about led kits that are specifically made for certain manufacture of vehicles with halogen housing? Eg deautokey

Unless a higher wattage mostly available in H4 types, most are just glass with color tint to "clean" the output.

A serious consideration is that the brighter the halogen the shorter its lifespan.
Bought some GE Nighthawk Platinum H7s in 2017 and got 2 years out of them. Had the stock ones almost two years before and put them back in since. Sylvanias and Osrams weren't rated much better on longevity either.
From reviews online I see 2 years was actually pretty good with the average American user getting 1 year and less.

TBH the bulbs were noticeably brighter and whiter but not much more than the stock halogens though. And those brighter halogens not cheap ah.

Piaas lasts the longest in halogens for me. Even when Toucan used to make bulbs those lasted longer than the higher end brands.

I use OSRAM night breaker plus gold plated terminals going 2yrs strong. You should try it.
