Yes. However, based on my research, I won't recommend anything over 60A fuse and would definitely stick with something Class D.

The Hybrid Fuel Economy Thread

Postby Barrychund » July 9th, 2019, 11:46 pm

Window shopping for cars as always.... getting more and more into the idea of hybrids as I just like the idea of getting the most I can out of a gallon of fuel. Looking at used Q50s... they have the 400HP Red Sport and a 359HP Hybrid Sport. Heres all the pertinent data:

For a 6 week period May 18th to June 30, between vehicles I had used a New Honda Vezel Hybrid. Drove using ECO mode.

Fill up 1: 686km/@156$ premium - Range was 730 km
Fill up 2 : 656km/@150$ premium - Range was 732 km
Fill up 3: 676km/@158$ premium - Range was 730 km
Fill up 4: 690km/@150$ premium - Range was 735 km
Fill up 5: 686km/@156$ premium - Range was 734 km

avg was 17.5-18.5km/L

AC always on to north and back to south 5 days a week.

IT's 2021 guys

Updates???

I changed tyres last year and saw an immediate decrease in economy
Where I'd normally get 900+ and could stretch to 1000+ in regular not-trying-to-get-my-best-tank style driving, I find now I'm barely crossing 800km to a tank.

This annoys me.

Did the size of the tyre change?

Lol I checked that before they put it on.

Went from 195/65/15 to 205/60/15 (annoyingly) because that's all they had at the time.
So I expected maybe a 3-5% difference or so. Not 20%.

But the tyre sucks in comparison. That's my fault.
I need to get low RR tyres. And these are too loud.

What tyres did you get.

More grip over fuel economy
