OP, what is the problem with your seats and why do you want it steam cleaned?

Do you know that steam cleaning is only part of the cleaning process and some of the times you it can be counter productive.

I have seen many local and foreign videos where guys have very expensive equipment but they are either using it for the wrong purpose or just using bad technique. Its like buying a very expensive accounting software and not knowing how to use it properly.

Depending on the nature of the cleaning, steam can actually further set in the stain making it much harder to remove also depending on the level of build up the steamer may not be able to effectively and efficiently thoroughly clean the material.

That being said, i consider a steamer to be a very surgical tool that once used well , it can achieve great results.

If you like, tell me what type of seats you have and why you need them clean and let me see if i can direct you to what may be the best method of cleaning to solve you problem.

Thanks@Karim. Its the Fabric Seats of a 2012 Ford Ranger. Recently bought vehicle and gives off a sort of dirty smell when you enter the vehicle.

So the purpose of the clean is not a stain but a scent. Tried using Tough Stuff but its still slightly there. Could also be the floor mat of the van itself.

Your welcome.

My recommendation to you is to have the entire interior properly cleaned.

The fact is that you are the new owner of a used smelly 2 year old vehicle and i am sure you don't have any idea what took place in side it over the past 2 years, so lets presume the worst and i mean the WORST, cause most 2 year old vehicles should not have an unpleasant scent.

The way forward, for the least you will want to deep clean the seats and carpets, steam the interior, use an independent odor eliminator to clean the air, clean all the plastics and air vents etc.

truth about that last bit.
I was riding in a frontier a TCD. the driver was telling me how the guy he bought it from shot one of his workers in the passenger seat and killed him. they clean out the seat and thing, tru story.
