There is a lot of information on the internet regarding this topic with specific info. on your vehicle's model. I am suggesting that you do a search via google as you may receive a better response.

From my knowledge, a catback system the section of the exhaust from the catalytic converter to the muffler. A muffler (or endpipe as you referred to) basically reduces noise, some more than others.

To achieve what you looking for, you will have to research what the aftermarket companies offer to see what best suits you. You can look on youtube to get the general idea of how an aftermarket muffler sounds or research forums/friends/people who have same vehicle to get user experiences.

I have a friend who has a sir civic (ek model), I believe he installed a magnaflow exhaust on his car which he eventually removed and reinstalled stock as it was too loud for him.
