how to get the best proformance out of a stock b14 engine

I have a b14 engine in a mazda 323GLX and it pull's nice .But i just feel it could do more any hepl would be nice .

change plugs and do a service(oils injectors ect)
stick a gearbox on it
bend out a pipe to get some cold air into the intake
get a good fuel pump( seeing that its a swap more than likely a poor fuel pump was used)
wire the pump on a relay
press out a wee bit bigger exhaust pipe

could also turbo it

upgrade to a SR! (seeing that you already cross breed)

no matter what you do, it's gonna always be a 1.5 engine with no aftermarket support.

take a drive in anything with "vtec" on the valve cover. the GA15/16 should feel instantly better on the next drive. works everytime.
