Christian Tam sets new Trini record for fastest Subaru

Christian Tam ran his GC8 EJ20 powered Subaru at camden raceway and did 11.3 on his first pass, followed by a 11.2 then three more 11.3s. With loads of wheelspin off the line, he most likely won the 11 second bracket for the event.

Congrats goes out to him & his team......he's been waiting quite some time noW to get these cars lower. Now its just to get the 33 to leave the line.

Sweet he really told me watch out for the subaru. Waiting for the red beast to grace the shores, not sure if it came to this event, I ain't talking about the R35 btw.

11.7 or .9 @ best.. Leo used to drive it.. (His uncle car) And I think Dave's GC8 did 11.3/4 best et as well....

yup....thats right..... tam hsa fought up and stuck with this GC8 battle a LONG time now.... car had SOOO much potential all this time...

Gobin's old sti on n2o was 11's also back in wallerfield days, then JWT bought it and think his best was 11.7 or so on n2o.

what ever happen to silver stars red gc8 and the white one that ran 12's / high 11's??

what ever happen to silver stars red gc8 and the white one that ran 12's / high 11's??

i believe the engine was damaged and never rebuilt since...

either way...still wheel spinning off the line, tam's GC8 should be wrapped in sticker rubber next month....hoping to see a 11.1 or 11.0 :twisted:

i think tam car has alot more potential to do faster times than omar's car.

that gt42 turbo can put out alot more power than the precision turbo omar is running...

i've seen cars do low 10's with gt42 on a ej20

anyways ronnie..i feel your sti can give omar car a run also

unlike omar.... tam's EJ20 lasts more than one event :roll:
