auto rewiring

looking into completely rewiring an Austin Mini

anyone got any ideas of how much this may cost?

take it to an electrician
if it is stock engine and accessories i cant see you gettin charged much at all

is everyhting stock?
you might be better off getting a complete mini harness from a scrapped 3-series mini and swapping it over, the entire thing is abt 17ft long.
i,ve seen some horrible attempts at re-wiring minis (half twisted wires, cheap tape, all black wires etc) which ended in frustration due to the small space available.
the swapped harness will adhere to the original code and look much better :wink:

yes the existing wiring is stock, but in a bit of a mess

naw, sorry. but with so many minis being cannibalised these days, there still is hope that u can find a gr8 harness. try swami or even dan

look at a painless wiring harness. it real easy , everything come labeled and with a little patience you will not go wrong , all u need to know it how much circuits you will need

Bumping a old thread here...... I'm looking for an electrician to complete the wiring in my Fj40, vehicle has a new E-Z wiring harness that needs to be installed. I just don't have the time to complete it...
