Shame...was the muffler shop owner across from me who had this. Did the RB conversion also.

never really understood the love for 280s
After seeing the timeless beauty and perfect proportions of the 240Z, the 280 (to me) just looks like the oversized fat kid in the group....kinda like paring an R32 next to a 35...one is ultra cool and the other just trying too hard

240z's were sold here but as with cars of that era and no electro dipping taking place they all returned to the earth.

yeah they were, but not as many were sold as the 280
Back then, they were relegated to 'rusty old cars', not coveted collectibles, as they are now
Seems the 280Z is following suit, probably because it's so damn hard to get a 240

Agreed. I dont mind updated power in a car of that vintage. It's visually not appealing to me. A car that size always (in my view eh.. haaal arn with allyuh keyboard tapping!!) needs transparency to breathe...so no tint. and a smaller wheel diameter.

The visual intercooler is upsetting the fl....*ambers off talking to himself about form and flow and bodylines...

Wouldnt that plastic generate a damp environment for the car and promote corrosion?
