WTK: Mods for 120y Advice

Im considering buying a 120y.

I will have after buying 11k to spend on it.

Things im sure i want.

I want to put in a reliable A/C
Body Kit.

You may want to make sure your body and mechanicals are sound befor you put in an A/C and a body kit. Too many ppl spend money in the wrong places on older cars, resulting in an overall bad car.

I have a Hyundai Accent to sell. It has a reliable a/c and the (stock) engine and body are in good condition. Looks better than the 120Y, could accept a Nissan engine, and good for running "PH" if you so desire.

I used to like 120Ys before I see one just one car in front of me in stop and go traffic by Courts on the C-R H'way spin around and turn over. The traffic was moving at about 20 km/h when this happened. Up till now I still trying to figure out how that car capsize so easily. There was no impact from the car in front of me that would have sent the 120Y into the 90 degree rotation. I don't know if one of the wheels lock up and cause that spin. But at 20 km/h???? Fortunately, the driver was alright. I just fraid them 120Ys now. But people does still fix them up nice though.

Over the weekend I will try to post up some photos and details on the car in the "Classifieds" section of Trinituner.

With respect to the body kit, the car is a 4 door 1996 accent sedan. I have only seen fibreglass body kits for the 2 door hatchback of this model. The front bumper of the kit should work with no problem as both the sedan and coupe have essentially the same front clip. The lip for the rear bumper could probably work with some massaging from an experienced body shop. I am not too sure about the side skirts though. You could probably try to get the side skirts manufactured locally.
