all cars have limits
mid engine cars are very unforgiving

When Lotus released the Step 1 Elise, a common problem was owners spinnning backwards into roundabouts, especially in the wet

When the Step 2 was introduced, it came with narrower front tyres, to help protect unskilled drivers

When Clarkson drove the Step 2, he complained about the understeer, until Lotus' test driver and suspension engineer Gavin Kershaw took the wheel, he demonstrated the full potential of the car.........

But even with the more neutral handling, there will always be limits

In any event I have no clue how the Exige met its demise so I can't comment

One more thing, when you bend the chassis on one of those, it is virtually impossible to repair, due to how it's constructed............and the cost of a chassis replacement usually means insurance writeoff

jimahy wrote:yeah it looks like the Veilside kit. I looked at some pictures online and fits the bill exactly. Looks real real nice in person though (camera's and video just can't capture the real experience of some things nowadays). I'm sure you'll see it on the road and you'd be like wtf. Look at that. It looks real real decent in real life.

Clearly the first bolded part is true because every pic I see the car looks like balls

the second bolded part is also true :|
