Golf GTI Landed in the showroom since yesterday.
2.0T with DSG 6 speed
17 inch rims and Bridgestone Turanza tires (wtf), white
Leather interior, sun roof, touch screen display
Dual zone climate control, push start ignition
LED DTRL with Led fog lights
Flat bottom steering wheel, cruise control, paddle shifters
Red stitching accents, Red LED door accents
Electronic parking brake
CD, SD card reader
Did I miss anything?
Oh 400K

My question now is how much more would a golf R cost if BA brought it in. The Gti is kinda washed up now that the R exists. Its Sister is already here and its a beast

Golf R is nice.....but the gti is more nimble...depends on what one wants I guess..not sure what I would choose if given the oppurtunity...

GTI actually rated up more by European press, If you looking at the golf R is best you get the Audi S3
almost the same car but more luxury on the audi side and almost the same price.

Its rated up with good reason...saw a review between both golf R amd GTI around a circuit and the GTI won....but truthfully I would prefer the more brawny of the lot..a la golf R...S3 is too soft for how aggressive a driver I can be most of the time...I like to "feel" the road so to speak

The prices listed on the first page for the vans you mentioned shouldn't be too far off the prices that would be quoted to you by a sales rep
Some of the items you mentioned might be optional extras or might come in a deal....you can discuss that with the reps

Now what follows here is debatable and everyone has a good story as well as a horror story
My pick for quality, resale value and maintenance would be the
Toyota HILUX....for automatic (The technology is a bit dated but it works reliably)
2.5 lux is a dead horse btw unless it has the VNT turbo which the dealer does not sell.

For Manual might go with the new BT-50 if i had my Heavy T license
but seeing as i don't it will have to be the Navara. The new nav is out...waiting to see if there are teething issues.

Have never driven the D-Max though.

All the vans these days should be pretty reliable with proper servicing and no hooning.

Need a new Nav owner to weigh in on rear passenger room...the doors are bigger than the D40 but it doesn't appear to be by much

2016 Hilux? Yea or nay?

That interior definitely fail IMO. Exterior looks better than outgoing for sure

What's going on with these redesigns. Hilux is now out of the running for me, maybe it looks better in person.

The exterior isn't bad imo. That touch screen looks like they just slap it on though

Isuzu dmax- 210k fully loaded 4x4 fabric interior
Nissan navara/frontier 2015- 235k 4x4
Toyota hilix 2014 - 247k

Out of all the navara is the most appealing to me and come with the most features

The navara comes with reverse camera, touch screen deck, more storage in the inside, nicer dashboard display ... things like that... plus the interior looks rel platicy with the colour and material used in the hikux... I know the the 2015 comes in October but who has time to wait
the dmax fully loaded with the camera and touch screen is 217 I think...
