Turbo petrol vehicles generally gain about 35 to 40 hp stage 1 tune and about an extra 50 Nm of torque. Turbo diesels I can't say for sure but I believe it was similar. It's respectable no matter what. No other mod for that price will get you those gains.

What kind of reliability is to be expected after a tune. .. making extra power makes no sense if it's going to break something shortly after. ..

It's not a ridiculous amount of extra power. Read up on it. Doesn't break things.

Pretty much it comes into play if you need a warranty claim on the engine depending on what it is so yes you would be taking a risk as with any other mod one does to a vehicle under warranty.

The Ciaz does look like quite a nice contender in the accent/rio/sonic/city/yaris category but just as when the S-Cross was introduced my interest died when i learned the pricing. Like the S-Cross for some reason its priced to compete with a higher tier of vehicles. Lets hope they adjust their pricing to be more competitive and not end up pushing themselves out of the market.

^On paper that Focus seems like a good value.
And at 40MPG / 17km/l it's very efficient as well

Premium fuel will be the deal breaker for me.

Underpowered for that price imo. That engine should be using super as well if they not on the performance angle.
