not sure where you stand with the trinituner cabal but the resident hyundai police may be on standby to educate you with pseudo intellect and a video or 2 proving that a veloster is the best just like the elantra.

How so?

Light steering, too soft, felt unstable around corners and any small bump in the road. Very similar to the cerato but a lot worse. A lot

Electric power steering? I knew I hated the cars that I drove with that system.

You get used to it but it feels really detached at first. You can adjust the stiffness in the cerato which helps though

I'm good. The steering feels too numb in the ones i drove. Really takes away from the driving experience.

Electronic steering is the future. You get used to it, even miss it after a while. Really lessens the fatigue when driving long distances

The CY Lancer and the Smiley Mazda 3 have good electric steering systems IMO, it felt better than the Elantra but I have no experience with the FlexSteer system in the new Cerato. I heard sport is the best setting for some.

I keep mine on normal. Comfort is way too light. Sport is good too
The CY is really good. I really liked that car.

I think the CY in retrospect was ahead of its time. Do you think the current Cerato despite coming out 6yrs later than the Lancer is superior in handling/design/interior space/fuel economy? The Lancer 1.6 GLS fully loaded is like $195k with 3yrs free service and full comp insurance. That is still a heck of a good deal.

Handling it definitely better than the cerato. Used to love driving that car up maracas. Interior design is better in the cerato imo. Exterior I can't choose. They both look good. The Lancer was definitely ahead of its time though. Auto wipers and all.
Great deal but I wouldn't consider a 7 year old model.

Because it's a Mitsubishi lancer.

Didn't know we had those. Factory CNG or a third party kit?

Is the performance on CNG variants still crappy or has it caught up? Last time I drove a CNG vehicle was about 10years ago.

I think the octane rating for cng is quite high hence the loss of performance in petrol powered vehicles. ... in a turbo diesel however which has a much higher compression ratio than a petrol engine as well as the turbo. .... It has the potential to make good power

Hmmmm, that's interesting, i know that 1.5 skyactive is being offered, at least overseas, in the Mazda 2, the new CX-3 is supposed to be coming with the 2.0, they should give us the 1.5 from the new Miata in the Mazda 3   :bday:

I wouldn't be surprised if we see the cx-3 with something other than the 2.0.
Also with a 2.0 the taxes will be a bit on the high side for the market segment its competing in ...

When in demand models are out dealerships could real coast on you...went into Massy in the first week of January to look at the Xtrails and Qashqais. They had none in stock except what was in the showroom and none were available for test drive.

Sales Rep has yet to call back two months later.

Meanwhile has received bout 3-4 calls from other sales reps for other brands in that time.
