He probably fainted due to choking on his own vomit, after reading the second to last line of writing on the box...

lol @ Spike
nah.................most parts like that come from Taiwan
when buying chrome trim for older MGs one has to be very cautious because the Taiwanese make those too! Problem is the Taiwanese chrome only lasts a few years before tarnishing and corroding

I was just dumbstruck that nigie actually bought new panels rather than wrap the car in foil paper and then fill it with plaster of paris

Foil!..that too expensive ...its soak gazette paper in water..and use this saturated material to form/shape patch...when dried.... apply multiple layers of bondo till desired shape is achieved...works every time...and actually acts as a cushion is case of accidents.....yes old guardian preffered for obvious reasons...

Back in 89-90 it had someone in San Juan with a similar Ford F-series pickup that was painted white with a bunch of metallic airbrush stripes on the side. Same truck was sold to a farmer in Central who later painted it brown and installed a Brahma top (cap) on the tray.. Farmer lived just off the highway in Charlieville and had 2 "like new" classic American trucks that was always parked next to the highway for all to see. Anyone know if the Brown Ford still around?
