Yup. See now that's when you into the whys and hows of the hobby. Errybody knows this or that car is a classic and errybody has an opinion on who should use what how, but few understand the subtle nuances the way you and a select few do. No wonder the E-type man let you do that photo shoot. He real particular about who gets access and passes judgement...

And speaking of gauges.....you know these quite well...

but thats exactly how it started..when i mentioned to you that your Ford Telstar shared Ford Cortina Gauge Tech.. but that thats not bad cuz its essentially VDO tech.

Pity that Jag spent so much time doing R&D than actually building cars that made it worth its while...Interior is lovely here tho...

Yup. Jag is one of those companies that got painted into a corner with its own heritage. I not as much into the old car scene as I used to be tho. It's becoming more and more a pi$$ing competition. A few fellas like Calor are a refreshing change from the trend, but you gonna see more and more guys just keeping to themselves and keeping their collections under wraps.
Just last week I took a friend to see my buddy's stash of Jags and MGs. He read the scene and his camera never came out
