They also have a 24hr hotline, in the case of a breakdown, they will send out a mechanic to your vehicle to see if they can troubleshoot the problem, if they can't they tow your vehicle back to the dealership to fix the issue. I have friends who have MB, but they are all professionals....doctors, lawyers, dentists etc and they get excellent service and parts they don't have they rush it in (rush for them is a week) , where a courtesy car is given to you while your vehicle is down. If you can afford a MB, this is the pleasure of owning a German luxury vehicle. Sterling service used to suck and they used to park your vehicle in the road when they had to service because they had no space.....it's all changed now, I would say in the last 5 yrs as the competition has grown and they recently built a larger service building to accommodate all the vehicles. Saving my jar of pennies, to own me one of them German machines soon.....lol.

Parts...your guess is as good as mine. Courtesy car....if you know somebody , you may get one. I would say there is a lot of holes in this premium brand offering.....kind of sad to know. Sadder still when the "Audi trained" mechanics can't seem to diagnose a problem without a computer, and they change a million different parts. The Audi vehicles are beautiful, full of tech and you get a nice 4 year warranty, but the dealer after service leaves a lot to be desired, especially if I am throwing out that much money on an Audi....I expect premium service
dogichi wrote:I have heard mixed reviews on BMW, but sterling seems to have the lead with the Mercedes. I hope Audi gets their game right soon, because they are selling quite a lot of Audis...A4's, Q5's and the A6 are their big sellers in that order. Time will tell, don't be to discouraged chris, if a lot of their customers speak out and demand their due service, I can see changes in the positive in the future. I love Audi, and will still put down money on an A4 or A6 if given the chance. I won't be their bobolee though, and will demand my service. My love is in this order Audi...Mercedes....BMW.....VW

I usually let my reps book my services for me, and keep the service dept honest when comes to my vehicle. Keep everyone involved and you should have a better experience. One plus for Audi though, their reps will take your vehicle to service and drop it back for you.

They currently only displaying MB in their showroom and hoping to get another showroom for their other brands (Skoda, Fiat, Ssangyong) but they are missing out on selling some quality vehicles that can challenge the establishment dominated by japs.
True. The sales guy said that they're gonna be getting more aggressive with marketing the other brands. From what I gather though one reason why they've been so low profile is that when people come in and test drive the vehicles they usually buy it .... so basically they don't even have to work to sell them ... same thing goes for the Skoda and Fiat brands. But is would make a big difference if Sterling were to highlight the after sales support for these brands ... build more confidence among the public.
A south location would also help.
From what I've heard Sterling's after sales support for their non-Mercedes Benz clients leaves a lot to be desired as their focus is on the MB brand. Was your experience different?

Never owned any model in their lineup ..... first time considering purchasing from them so I'm just as interested in hearing what their after sales support is like for the non-MB lines

I love my Audi only complaint, I wish local service was actually to the standard of a, "so called" premium brand, but that's just my experience as I said before the majority of the fellow owners I know have no complaints, but I'm young and still learning to play the game. Thinking of getting the new A3 sedan depending on what is available locally seems perfect for me.
christopherwilliams2 wrote:With 2 kids under 3 and another maybe in the future, what do you guys suggest?
I am looking at the A4,the Q5, the 3 series and the C class.
Rear room is very important and safety is paramount. Decided that I should shed my earlier preference to stay out of the luxury category.
