You: ZERO Biatch !!! Suck on that !!!
j.o.e wrote:Hold ya horses on all that electric stuff.....jus remember the car starts off substantially more expensive regardless of market or manufacturer. Unless the Gov't does something else to bring down price other than engine tax it won't really be cheaper.
Also the better electric cars normally utilise some kind of internal combustion engine. A purely electric car is not viable as yet for anything other than short commutes.
Then add to the fact that if you have a purely electric car instead of NP raping you...T&TEC will

In Trinidad every drive is a short commute.

For A6 and 5 series you would probably compare the K7 (Cadenza)
Just for info sake
dogichi wrote:The A6 would be the run away winner in this segment. I guess it depends on how you like your Euros. The Mercedes people might stay with Mercedes and BMW like wise. Never drove them, so wouldn't know. But I would consider after sale support and service and that would push the Mercedes in front of the BMW. Not BMW fault though, but the local dealers here, that killing this beautiful vehicle. If the dealers were better, I would consider the BMW, because that was always my dream car since a child. Thank you Richmond Motors and Southern Sales before that..... for killing my dream.

You missing the point, the cheapest all electric car is the Nissan Leaf at @ $29,000 US (yea the one that looks like a March) in the US market a 3 series bmw starts at $32,000 just to put it in perspective. Fuel is still relatively cheap in T&T so paying so much more for so much less car because there is no engine tax doesn't make sense. That's like buying a Yaris for the price of a Camry so u won't have to fill up at NP or pay engine tax.
Maybe one day it will be viable but not yet.
