nah, I wouldn't call it ugly..........kinda looks like a modern interpretation of a 1920s era grille...........better than lotsa stuff in this ched

clearly he put some thought into it...down to the subtle bend in each spoke to match the angles of the headlight to bumper transition...........I'll take mine in matte black
