A172, about 300 hp/tq...just checked it, also saw there's a single turbo variant, 330is that makes a bit more that the tt version, 320 hp/tq roughly.....its a nice car even though you kicked his ass

wait...can someone clarify the POLO's engine?I see the New Car thread has 1.4TSI and from searching only the polo GTI 1.4TSI 180hp comes up???

It uses a supercharger AND a turbocharger.

That is, assuming the Polo is the Polo GTI. There is a Polo that uses a 1.4 with a turbo only, but I think that puts out around 125 hp or so.

125hp was in the outgoing polo...but google not giving mih info on the new POLO other than the 1.4TSI 180hp..so if this is what selling for 170k,that is way too good to be tru...dats 0-60mph in 6.9 sec..close to the 0-60 time of the new GTI at 6.5 or thereabout :shock: ...somebody tell mih is dis model we getting so ah could put mih cyar for sale in de mawning!!! :x

the polo has a 1.4 84hp non turbo engine.
the jetta has a 1.4 158hp turbo and supercharged engine (twin charged)
the audi a1 has the 1.4 120hp turbo engine

That polo pictured on the prev page is not the Polo GTI....look at the grille and wheels.
