For that price bracket. 2012 Jetta ftw. Hopefully N&M has a reasonable price for the upcoming 2013 sentra/pulsar

They gonna bring it? It looks nice though. But wouldn't it compete with the versa?

Just an FYI The Mazda 3 price went from 212,000 to 204,000.

Southern Sales always thinking about the customer once again!

you paying $5k less than the loaded elantra for the mazda3 and u expect ppl to buy? People smarter now, practically no one is interested. They should drop the price to $160k then ppl will buy.

aidan the new sentra/pulsar is a bigger car than the versa so nissan now has a true competitor for the compact car crowd sans bluebird sylphy

Stfu. How you gonna say they should drop to 160k? Try to justify this bs!
You basically saying the Mazda 3 is worth less than 3/4 of the SMALL cars (yaris, versa, tiida, accent, 2, city) being sold in the country? Sheesh!!! Be realistic!

Ppl just like the Elantra for the more "sleak" look. Give me a Mazda over a Hyundai any day.

whoa..that's pricey indeed. comparable prices to the CRV. but i'll take a Rav4 over CRV any day.
A little more than 6 years ago my mid fabric 4x4 rav4 was around 300. a 54k increase over 6 years not bad since there's a bigger engine n all. (2.0 --> 2.5)

Wanted to upgrade to this model but.. it's a pricier upgrade than I expected

Don't get me wrong though, apart from the design of the new Hyundai Elantra (which is the ONLY reason there are so many on the roads right now along with the cheap prices of the lower end models which are actually garbage) the Fully loaded Elantra really gives you a lot. I just wasn't understanding how the same person that said the Mazda 3 sound system is worth 1000 or less also now saying the Mazda 3 on the whole is worth 160 grand. Sounds like he just using any opportunity to bash mazda or to praise the Elantra! At least I give credit where it is due. Why he don't sell his Jetta and buy an Elantra. My cousin HAD a Jetta and now has a Sonata and he couldn't be happier, but if I compare the two he would get mad because they're two difference classes even though he was comparing the Mazda 3 sound system to an Optima's sound system earlier. Gimme a break!

features on the rav4, even the lowest models, look nice :) I wish the 2WD was RWD though, and that there was a turbo diesel option.
Not too keen on the styling though, for some reason it reminds me of some mitsubishi models a few years ago.

For some reason I've heard more horror stories with local Toyota vehicles than FU Toyota ones. :/

What's wrong with CVT?
I prefer that to anything else.

Just wondering what's wrong with it.

Personally I hate the way CVT makes an engine sound. Constant whiny drone as the revs don't increase to a definite shift point. Turned me off of the current Lancer. Makes vehicles sound like mosquitoes.

you getting old boy
personally, I find the exterior dull and uninspiring, however, I do think the interior is a great leap forward from the plasticky, and cheap looking one they had in the previous version :)

If i was going for a large-ish grandpa mobile that we also don't get down here, I'd probably go with this:

Ah Ok.
I love it for the smooth ride and the added economy.
Also goes up steep hills with no uncomfortable shifting.

Music is usually too loud to hear engine :|
